One of my greatest joys is growing dahlias. These extraordinary flowers thrive in the warmth of summer and reach their most magnificent bloom in late August and September. After the first frost, they are carefully lifted from the earth, cleaned, and stored away to rest — preparing for a vibrant return in the next season.
Each autumn, as I tend to them, I reflect on their beauty, resilience, and the possibilities waiting ahead.
